Charity Happy Hour at Pasha Washington DC

When: Friday, May 15

Pasha Lounge

2147 P St NW
Washington, DC 20037

Ladies and Gentleman, we will join with several other Meetup Groups for a nice evening at Pasha Lounge and a Charity Happy Hour event to socialize and mingle even more. I'm posting the updates from the originating group - The 20's and 30's Going Out Group - but there are several other groups attending also - please see the list below - See you there!!!

UPDATE #3: We have a few more groups who will be joining us for the first time: the Not Your Traditional Book Club, Black Singles In The City and the DC Metro 20s & 30s New in Town Group! Let's make them feel welcome so spread the word, come on out, meet new people, and help support a good cause!

UPDATE #2: The Booze Club, The German Language Club and the Book Meet&Eat Club will be there as well!

UPDATE #1: The Kick A$$ Professionals and the DMV Ladies will be joining us as well!

Ok, time for our next happy hour! After a long work week, let's kick back, relax, meet up with new and old faces, have a few drinks, and have some fun!

We'll be benefiting Washington Literacy Council (http://www.washington.... )... an organization with the mission to raise the literacy level of adults and children in our nation’s capital... suggested $5 or $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to Washington Literacy Council, 20% of donations go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover meetup fees and expenses. The following groups will be joining us so far:

The Kick A$$ Professionals
The DMV Ladies
The German Language Club
Book Meet&Eat
The Booze Club
Not Your Traditional Book Club
Black Singles In The City
DC Metro 20s & 30s New in Town Group

Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 250 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around. Must be 21+. For those that haven't been there before, Pasha Lounge features palatial lights with state of the art decor, custom wave walls, and dramatic mosaic tiling. See

To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar. Also, 20s & 30s Rockstars, please help make all the newcomers feel welcome to our group!

Looking forward to seeing you there!

- J.T.

Dupont Circle metro is within walking distance (Red line). I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour)... I also recommend using wmata for travel planning.

Note: There is a $25 minimum for credit card tabs. Bring cash if you don't think you'll go over their minimum.
