It's time to announce the next in our series of wine tastings, held jointly with The Manhattan Social Wine Tasting Meetup Group as well as my Wine With Culture, Expat and TastingNYC.com groups!

This time we will be UPSTAIRS @ Duvet, located at 45 W 21st Street between 5th & 6th Avenues.

Duvet's large upstairs room, once featured in an episode of 30 Rock, is one of Manhattan's most beautiful venues! Here is what we have in store for you at this unique event:

Wine

We will dedicate an entire evening to tasting Italian wines. Varietals are wines made primarily from a single named grape variety. Italy, home to some of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world, has over 850 varietals. This event will feature several such wines, each with detailed tasting notes. These carefully selected wines will be available at the discounted price of $8 a glass. We will also have a few small presentations for those who wish to expand their knowledge of this fascinating topic.

Cheese

The proper pairing of wine and cheese is a tradition in Italy. At this event, complimentary cheese will be served from 6:30-7:30 so come early!

Photography Exhibit

No one can dispute the beauty of this ancient civilization. Join us on January 16th as we lead you on a photographic journey through this incredible country. From Florence to Venice, from Rome to Sicily we celebrate the beauty that is Italy! Some of the pictures will be available for purchase at very affordable prices.
